DESCRIPTION
Shadow Puppet is a 2.5D hack-and-slash action game set inside a corrupted dollhouse. The player navigates a series of connected rooms using precise movement and deliberate attacks while managing a volatile shadow that briefly comes to life during combat.
When the player attacks, a shadow emerges from the ground as a dark mass, forms into the player’s shape, performs a single delayed slash, and then collapses back into the floor. As the player’s insanity increases, the shadow becomes unstable spawning behind the player and capable of damaging both enemies and the player.
Combat focuses on timing, positioning, and awareness. Players can avoid dangerous shadow attacks by jumping or repositioning, creating a risk-reward system driven by mechanical decision-making rather than visual polish.
